I’ve been longing to post this engagement session I had last month. These two lovely couple was all excited about the shoot… They decided to have their engagement session in two locations. We headed first to Marjorie’s Garden at Sta. Rita, Samar and proceeded to Raphael Farms. On our way to Raphael Farms, we asked permission from the Police who was manning the Samar side check-point of San Juanico Bridge if we can stop by the bridge and have some photos taken… and everything went smoothly.

Vincent introduced me to Nicelle on the time were about to leave for Marjorie’s Garden. Nicelle just arrived from the U.S. two days before our engagement shoot and they immediately worked on their civil wedding that happened on the morning of our shoot. Vincent and Nicelle were just so comfortable with each other… I had a blast capturing their moments together as both of them were just enjoying the entire shoot.

Here are a few favorites…

I love the facade of the coffee shop at Marjorie’s Garden… It’s like your in the Caribbean… As if I’ve been there… 🙂 Probably that’s what you get for too much TiVo.

Forget the bridge… Just focus on the two… nakakakilig! 🙂

They’re both game…

We need to wait for the bridge to be free from any moving objects before we can have this shot… 🙂

Anyways, I’m posting again another wedding shoot we’ve done last July… The wedding ceremony was held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish were Fr. Elmo was the main celebrant. My team was excited in their wedding as it was our first time to shoot at Le Jardin were the reception was held. Le Jardin is the newest event venue in Tacloban. It was carefully planned by the owners to be the best garden reception hall in the City. It is located at Brgy. Apitong, Tacloban City just a stone throw away from Angelicum School. Jessie and Cecile was both having fun during their wedding. Both of them grew up in Dulag, Leyte but Jessie is now based in the Middle East.

Here are some of the photos I took of Jessie and Cecile. To check out more photos of their wedding feel free to visit the client section of my website. However, the gallery though is password protected and only the family, relatives and friends of the couple can access it. The password of their gallery is Cecile’s family name (all in small caps). Sorry no clues here… 🙂 Read the rest of this entry »

Still here… Trying to catch up as I have lots of stuff to share to you especially last month’s festivities here in Tacloban.

Anyways, we are delighted to capture the wedding of Ariel Clemente and Rose Marie Arteche last July 3. Both of them are based in the U.S. and both also were my neighbors at PHHC village back then. They’ve been civilly married for 22 years before they eventually decided to tie the knot here in the Philippines. The ceremony was held at Sto. Niño Church and the reception were at Kanhuraw Convention Center. The great food was catered by no less than Dottie Capucion and Dana Flower Shop took care of the flowers. brianalma_014.jpg

I’m still catching up for my past wedding gigs. Brian and Alma were one of our coolest couple ever. They’re totally game since our first meeting few days before their wedding day. It was only Niña (the coordinator) who made the necessary preparations as both of the couple are based in Canada. We had a good weather and not to mention a great crowd. Both Brian and Alma’s closest relatives and friends flew over to Tacloban just to attend the wedding. It was such a fun day as everyone was enjoying especially during the reception. Angel

June 21, 2007

I'm a bit lagging on my blog postings lately. I’m glad I finished already some deadliest of deadlines. Two weeks ago was a fun wedding shoot. Our group headed to Guiuan, Eastern Samar for the wedding of Fe and Donald. It was our long overdue outing so we made it to a point to at least enjoy the scenic spots of Guiuan and stay for another day. I'm so excited to post the photos of our trip but half of my files were downloaded in Nelson's mac. I might be able to upload it this coming weekend as he is coming over for a two-day wedding shoot. You may be able to check out some of our Guiuan escapades thru Nelson's blog.Click **here** (My blog) to see some action shots... :)angel7_002.jpg

Anyways, I would like to share some photos I took during the 7th Birthday of Angel Verar. Angel is totally game in front of the camera. I just love taking photos of her before the party started. She really surprised me and I can't wait to share to you how adorable she was and what a party her parent's prepared for her 7th birthday. Read the rest of this entry »

Anyhow, the wedding took place at Baybay, Leyte were Alwyn grew up. It was our first time to have a wedding shoot in Baybay so we have to be there a bit early than our regular call time so we can check out the church as well as the reception hall. Read the rest of this entry »

Jiannina

Somebody just turned a lady today… Jiannina sent me a text message last Tuesday inquiring if I can take some photos for her debut invitation. The only problem though was it’s a rush project since her party will be four days away. After meeting her in my office and discussing the concept of her invitation we immediately proceeded to our location shoot. We just opt for a one-layout concept of invitation and a typical candid moment photo. I told her what if we do it on a coffee shop…?? After hearing my suggestion… Jiannina got excited and decided to ditched her beach-summer-macarthur park concept pictorial.

Well after 10 minutes of actual shoot at the coffee shop… We eventually had a final image to be used for her invitation.

Here was the image that she chose out of the Top 12 photos.

She wanted to have a horizontal and clean basic background.

Here’s the final invitation card.

To Jiannina: Happy Birthday and Rock on!!! I really wish to shoot your debut party with my buddy Nelson but we’re already hooked for a wedding. Til’ next time.

To those who are interested to have a photo-concept type of invitation just hit my contact section of my main website and we’ll be glad to assist your requirements. Cheers!
