I’ve been longing to post this engagement session I had last month. These two lovely couple was all excited about the shoot… They decided to have their engagement session in two locations. We headed first to Marjorie’s Garden at Sta. Rita, Samar and proceeded to Raphael Farms. On our way to Raphael Farms, we asked permission from the Police who was manning the Samar side check-point of San Juanico Bridge if we can stop by the bridge and have some photos taken… and everything went smoothly.

Vincent introduced me to Nicelle on the time were about to leave for Marjorie’s Garden. Nicelle just arrived from the U.S. two days before our engagement shoot and they immediately worked on their civil wedding that happened on the morning of our shoot. Vincent and Nicelle were just so comfortable with each other… I had a blast capturing their moments together as both of them were just enjoying the entire shoot.

Here are a few favorites…

I love the facade of the coffee shop at Marjorie’s Garden… It’s like your in the Caribbean… As if I’ve been there… :) Probably that’s what you get for too much TiVo.

Forget the bridge… Just focus on the two… nakakakilig! :)

We need to wait for the bridge to be free from any moving objects before we can have this shot… :)

My team was excited in their wedding as it was our first time to shoot at Le Jardin were the reception was held. Le Jardin is the newest event venue in Tacloban. It was carefully planned by the owners to be the best garden reception hall in the City. It is located at Brgy. Apitong, Tacloban City just a stone throw away from Angelicum School. Jessie and Cecile was both having fun during their wedding. Both of them grew up in Dulag, Leyte but Jessie is now based in the Middle East.

Here are some of the photos I took of Jessie and Cecile. To check out more photos of their wedding feel free to visit the client section of my website. However, the gallery though is password protected and only the family, relatives and friends of the couple can access it. The password of their gallery is Cecile’s family name (all in small caps). Sorry no clues here… :) Read the rest of this entry »

Still here… Trying to catch up as I have lots of stuff to share to you especially last month’s festivities here in Tacloban.

Anyways, we are delighted to capture the wedding of Ariel Clemente and Rose Marie Arteche last July 3. Both of them are based in the U.S. and both also were my neighbors at PHHC village back then. They’ve been civilly married for 22 years before they eventually decided to tie the knot here in the Philippines. The ceremony was held at Sto. Niño Church and the reception were at Kanhuraw Convention Center. The great food was catered by no less than Dottie Capucion and Dana Flower Shop took care of the flowers. I’m still catching up for my past wedding gigs. Brian and Alma were one of our coolest couple ever. They’re totally game since our first meeting few days before their wedding day. It was only Niña (the coordinator) who made the necessary preparations as both of the couple are based in Canada. We had a good weather and not to mention a great crowd. Both Brian and Alma’s closest relatives and friends flew over to Tacloban just to attend the wedding. It was such a fun day as everyone was enjoying especially during the reception. June 21, 2007

I'm a bit lagging on my blog postings lately. I’m glad I finished already some deadliest of deadlines. Two weeks ago was a fun wedding shoot. Our group headed to Guiuan, Eastern Samar for the wedding of Fe and Donald. It was our long overdue outing so we made it to a point to at least enjoy the scenic spots of Guiuan and stay for another day. I'm so excited to post the photos of our trip but half of my files were downloaded in Nelson's mac. I might be able to upload it this coming weekend as he is coming over for a two-day wedding shoot. You may be able to check out some of our Guiuan escapades thru Nelson's blog.Click **here** (My blog) to see some action shots... :)angel7_002.jpg

Billboard Shoot

May 24, 2007

img_8198a.jpg

I was commissioned to shoot for the billboard of Andreley’s (A hip bar and resto located at San Jose, Tacloban City). The management wanted to promote their place not only as a bar and resto but for other functions as well. Lucien (art director/layout artist) wanted to have a birthday party shots catering to all ages… They called up their friends and their children to pose as models. I bet most of you will recognize them as they’re all Taclobanon’s…

I’m not sure which among the four will land in the billboard… But im pretty excited to see the final output.

Here are the other layouts that we did…

Poll Results

May 13, 2007

I should have posted this last night as promised but I got to finish some important things… Well after almost 2,000 blog hits in the last 6 days and averaging more than 300 visitors a day… only 105 took the time to cast their vote using polldaddy.com. Anyways, here is the final result:

poll-result.jpg

I would like to congratulate mana Nancy Mate for getting the most number of votes in my poll… :) As I have said this is just for fun and thank you for the time in dropping by and casting your vote.

I thought posting a political related stuff will just bored my bloggers… I guess I was wrong co’z as I found out “The Future of Tacloban…” post got the most number of comments ever. Wow!… 46 individuals sharing their personal political stand and I thank you all. I hope each and every Taclobanon will respect whatever the final outcome of today’s election and may the newly proclaimed Mayor continue to push for the progress and development of our City.

Anyhow, I will be locking the comment section of the previous post so as to avoid dragging the comments to the post election results… Thank you to all ‘come BLOG with me’ followers.

The Future of Tacloban Lies in this People…

May 8, 2007

para-mayor-han-tacloban-cop5r.jpg

A week from now the people of Tacloban will be made to choose whom to lead the City for the next three years. I don’t really want to meddle with too much politics but I just wish to make an informal survey especially that we have lots of Taclobanon’s abroad as well as some locals that have an internet access whom they want to lead our City starting July, 2007.

I wish to make use of the poll system of polldaddy.com as its easy to check who you guys will you vote for Mayor this coming election…

Well, this is just for fun and this poll will DEFINITELY NOT confirm the final outcome of this coming election. I just would like each and every Taclobanon’s that have an internet access be counted. Guys you don’t have to be 18 years old to vote as long as you know how to read and click the mouse then botos na!!!

Please inform your friends to vote here!! BOTOS NA!!!!!!

Take Our Poll

I’ll be posting the final votes on the evening (Philippine Time) of May 13 to show who among the mayoralty candidates made the highest votes… hope it will be close to the final election result.

By the way, I am just glad to have stock photos of the candidates… Maupay nala that I’m into event photography…
